Chu'an Publishing Limited: Salt Spring Book

Three island photographers have initiated a project to produce a hardcover coffee table book designed to present a photographic essay of the island, its landscape and its people entitled: Salt Spring, The People, The Place.  The book consists of 120 pages of photos and text including an introduction by Arthur Black, black and white portraits of island artisans by Howard Fry, colour landscape photographs by Michael Levy and abstract, textural colour photographs by Osman Phillips.  Concept and design of the book was taken care of by a fourth member of the project team, Michela Sorrentino of Hermani & Sorrentino Design of Salt Spring.  The book has been printed by Metropolitan Fine Printers in Vancouver and is now widely available for sale on Salt Spring, in Victoria and Vancouver.
