Eagles & Herons
Each May the Bald Eagles can be found in Booth Bay on Salt Spring Island raising their young, teaching them how to fly and to fish preparing them for the days of adulthood that lie ahead.
As I wander along the beach and watch the birds at play, fishing for food and scavenging off the less fortunate, I feel blessed to be among them to bear witness to their inspiring acrobatic displays.
