Recently I took a short trip to another of the Gulf Islands, Gabriola, and discovered innumerable new possibilities for compositions along its rugged coastlines.  The lacework sandstone in and around the Malaspina Galleries was particularly appealing as well as the free standing formations that I discovered near my campsite in Descanso Bay.  I look forward to a return visit soon!
