Rendering images in the 6x6cm format has always intrigued me: there is no horizontal or vertical to consider in the composition in the traditional photographic sense.  Certain elements may draw the eye through the frame but there is nothing that forces a specific orientation one way or the other.  In the case of portraits, this is an especially appealing feature of the medium format image in that it focuses the viewer's attention to a much greater degree on the subject of the photograph without the danger of wasted space that occurs with a centered subject in a 35mm frame.  I enjoy photographing my subjects out of doors in an environment in which they are comfortable and, at the same time, one that suites them well.  For a listing of rates for portrait sessions, please refer to my pricing page.
