I have been printing my own black and white photographs ever since I first learned how to use a camera.  Black and white has and always will be my first love when it comes to photographic image making.  There is a certain nostalgia to black and white that appeals to me: a feeling of timelessness that makes one wonder about when the photograph may have been taken and that, simultaneously, removes it from the strictures of contemporary art.

All of my prints are traditional silver gelatin fibre-base photographs that I create in my Salt Spring darkroom one at a time.  Each image is one of an edition of 25 unless otherwise noted.
